Faisal Qidwai has established a distinguished career in medicine over the past 15 years, excelling in various domains, including surgical and non-surgical procedures, pediatrics, men's health, antenatal care, and the management of chronic diseases. He currently serves as the Director of MyHealth Rhodes Pty Ltd (non-clinical) in Rhodes, New South Wales, Australia.

His dedication to merging healthcare with innovative technologies drives him to actively participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops dedicated to this integration. Committed to continuous improvement and learning, he regularly engages with the latest medical, engineering, scientific, and technological literature. This commitment ensures he remains at the cutting edge of advancements in his field, though he is no longer practising. His academic journey began at the University of New South Wales, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering. Initially attracted to engineering because of its problem-solving and design aspects, he developed skills that proved invaluable in his early professional life, particularly in managing large-scale projects for publicly listed companies. He demonstrated his prowess in project management, construction, and innovation here.

Despite his success in engineering, he was drawn to new challenges, leading him to study law at the University of New South Wales in 2004. However, his passion for medicine quickly overtook his legal ambitions, prompting him to switch to Bond University. There, he completed his Bachelor of Medicine in 2010, specializing in surgery. Throughout his medical education, he stood out for his academic excellence and commitment to serving underprivileged communities through volunteer work at student-run clinics.

His postgraduate training was extensive, including residencies at Nepean Public Hospital and completing a Pediatric Advanced Life Support course. He also specialized in surgical techniques, particularly skin excision. He pursued a diploma in child health from Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2014, followed by a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2015.

Since assuming his leadership role at MyHealth Medical Centre in 2015, he has guided its transformation into a super clinic renowned for its patient-centered model and innovative healthcare operations. His strategic vision emphasizes collaboration, accessibility, and quality care.

Though no longer in clinical practice, Dr. Faisal Qidwai continues to make a meaningful impact through philanthropy, supporting initiatives that improve healthcare access and quality for diverse communities. His career exemplifies his lifelong dedication to knowledge, compassion, and the betterment of society.
